Course overview:

Get the very best out of your LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 by working with a LEGO Certified Trainer. LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 is a fantastic, simple to use resource that enables pupils to learn, construct and then bring models to life using intuitive drag and drop software for programming. As well as computing, it is a great basis from which to explore design and technology, science and maths – key aspects of STEM. We will also explore how WeDo can be used with Scratch to enhance both products. This will be a very hands-on session.

Learning outcomes:

• Understand how to use the bricks and elements in the LEGO WeDo 2.0 box

• Navigate and effectively use the LEGO WeDo software - including the Apps

• Explore how to design and write computer programs in Scratch and produce creative outputs with WeDo 2.0

• Understand how aspects of the computing and design and technology programmes of study can be delivered using LEGO WeDo 2.0

• Discover how LEGO WeDo can enthuse, excite and challenge your pupils
