The HR Essentials Subscription provides unlimited support for all your school’s workforce relations needs through one subscription. Our purpose is to help schools successfully manage their people through the provision of high-quality outcome focused workforce relations advice.
The HR Essentials subscription provides a professional and specialist school-focussed service, delivering practical, sensible advice and support to help you meet your HR responsibilities.
New for 2024, this also includes virtual/onsite support with meetings and hearings.
The subscription includes:
- 24/7 self-service support provided via our online portal (Hornbill).
- Access to the WES Website providing a range of documents and guidance.
- Policy queries triaged through our Customer Services Team.
- New for 2024 - Termly online briefings for Headteachers and Business Managers on key legislation and policy changes.
- A named HR Adviser to act as initial point of contact (a specific advisor will be allocated to specific cases or change management programme subject to availability).
- Access via telephone or pre-arranged virtual/onsite meetings to qualified specialist HR Advisers to provide support on more complex employment issues including:
- Absence Management.
- Performance Management.
- Change processes involving staffing reductions, restructures or TUPE.
- Grievances, disciplinaries and suspensions including attendance at Hearings.
- Pay and grading.
Your employees and their partners will have unlimited access to a dedicated telephone support line and website available 24/7 365 days a year.
Counselling sessions based on an assessment on an individual's requirements is also included for school employees with additional referrals (if recommended) available at an additional charge.
Provides payroll processing of gross to net pay, ensuring your staff are paid accurately and at the required time each month. All third party payments are managed and statutory returns made for you.
