Course description

FIRE EXTINGUISHER TRAINING

Aim: This practical course is designed to ensure an employee has the training and confidence to extinguish a fire safely and effectively.

The training is carried out using the BullsEye system - the most innovative fire training tool on the market. The training also includes information on what fires can be tackled, the different types of extinguishers and fires and how to operate an extinguisher. It is a great addition to our Fire Warden training course or as a stand-alone package.

All delegates will be assessed using the BullsEye system, which utilises digital flames to simulate class A, B and E fires and therefore the training can be carried out completely indoors, even in your own work area. It senses where the user aims and sweeps the laser training extinguisher and automatically varies the LED-driven digital flames in response.

The BullsEye system can recognize which type of extinguisher a trainee is using, and will only respond to the trainee’s actions if they have chosen correctly. Also, the trainee must put the correct distance between themselves and the fire for the panel to respond. These added features make fire extinguisher training more realistic and effective than ever before, resulting in trainees who are well prepared to face incipient stage fires.
