Tailorable Professional Services Packages for Planned Project Works

We have reconfigured our project package so you can select individual component parts allowing services to be tailored to your individual school's requirements and capabilities, to help you save money and maximise value. Tailored services can be purchased singularly or in multiples of any combination, and include:

Preparation of Brief with Customer: to assist the customer to define the requirements of a project in terms of scope, timescale, quality, available budget and the overall requirement to be fulfilled by the completed work - once agreed, detailed design work can then begin

Prepare Specification / Schedule of Work with Associated Drawings: preparation of technical documents and drawings (the design) to facilitate pricing by contractors.  These documents form part of a wider tender package that can be prepared by WCC or the customer's preferred consultant/provider

Management of the Tender Process: preparation of the tender package (including technical documents, contract conditions, form of tender, Health and Safety) and its publication to obtain prices from contractors

Tender Evaluation and Report: to analyse and report on tenders received, including arithmetic and technical checks; identification of anomalies; qualifications to prices; contractor competency; value for money etc. and make a recommendation on awarding the contract

On Site Project Management to Completion: to manage the on-site works for time, cost and quality and provide a Contract Administration service that includes co-ordination, preparation and issue of all contract certification, progress reports, site meetings and minutes; carry out snagging inspections and the 12 months defects inspection

CDM (Construction, Design and Management) Advisor: CDM Advisor/Health and Safety service for all parts of a project that includes advice on appointing the ‘Design Team’ and its subsequent co-ordination; checking of outgoing and incoming CDM/Health and safety documentation; notification of works to the HSE (Form F10); on site checks; compilation of Health and Safety File.

Clerk of Works: to ensure that work is carried out to the customers standards, specification and schedule; make sure that the correct materials and workmanship are used and that the customers requirement is met and value for money provided

All of our tailored services are available for Building, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines from a team of professionally indemnified and experienced people.

Fees are calculated on a bespoke basis applicable to the individual customer requirement and will be a fixed price lump sum, so there will be no nasty surprises after the fee has been agreed.  To provide you with even more freedom and flexibility, should your requirements change this can happily be accommodated*

* whilst we will always try and deliver additional requirements within the originally agreed fee, please be aware that changes to requirements can incur a fee increase as well as a decrease
