October Deadline for childcare vouchers

Since early 2017, the government has been phasing in a new scheme called Tax-Free Childcare. This means that the current childcare vouchers scheme will be closed to new entrants from 5th October 2018.

Any parents already on the childcare vouchers scheme by this time, however, will be able to remain on the scheme for as long as they require.

Staff can continue to take full advantage of the savings from the childcare vouchers scheme now and beyond 2018 (when the Government changes the rules around childcare funding).
