The HR Advisory Service provides comprehensive advice and guidance over the phone, by email or through our online guidance. Whichever way you choose to access our subscription our specialised HR Advisors are on hand to assist you throughout. Our annual subscription provides support, advice and guidance on a wide range of HR areas of work including:
- Supporting and guiding academies through appropriate routes for discipline and grievance as well as devising creative solutions to complex HR cases;
- Advising on appropriate measures of performance and improvement frameworks and advice on appropriate sanctions up to and including dismissal;
- Advising on employment law implications of staffing reductions, redundancy, redeployment and TUPE;
- Advising on the appropriate management of all types of employee absences;
- Providing advice on grading;
- Advising and supporting academies in managing poorly performing staff through their probationary periods;
- Advising on the rights and obligations of trade union representatives and on time off for individual trade union representatives;
- Liaising with Teacher Pensions to obtain TR2 forms and provide estimates for early retirement; and
- Advising on the employment implications of safeguarding issues.
