§  Distinguishing between monitoring and evaluation;

§  Exploring in detail several key sources of evidence, including:

ü  Headteacher reports and other professional advice; 

ü  Governors’ first-hand experience of the school; 

ü  Performance data; 

ü  Views of parents, pupils, and staff.
