Course description

Aims to familiarise TAs with some of the challenges that learners using EAL might face when learning English alongside learning curriculum content. It explores what makes English difficult to understand and to think of ways learners who use EAL can be supported by introducing practical, easy to use strategies to develop the language skills they need to fully access the curriculum.
