Refugee and asylum-seeking children and young people in Warwickshire, like other EAL new arrivals, are a very diverse group.
This session covers:
· The terminology used for different migrant groups; their rights and entitlements
· Admissions & Induction arrangements - providing a welcome
· Pastoral care and nurturing environment
· Revision of systems, policies and ethos within the school - what does the research say?
· Curriculum access
· Working with parents and community
