Course description

 

Negotiating, Persuading & Influencing

 

This course is available on request only.

 

Aim:    To outline the processes and skills needed to successfully influence and negotiate with confidence

 

Learning Objectives:            "At the end of this session delegates will be able to:

 

  •  Understand the difference between persuading, influencing and negotiating
  •  Know the communication skills required
  •  Understand own style and the styles of others;  Bolton & Bolton; how and when to flex
  •  Understand and practice the skills of influence and persuasion: PROVE model
  •  Know and practice the principles of negotiation: 6-step Negotiation Model (Prepare, Open, Reposition, Trade, Agree, Summarise)
  •  Have opportunity to apply models and skills in workshop practice"

Cancellation and non-attendance fees

Non-attendance or a cancellation within 14 days before the class date will result in a minimum £150 fee charged for a full day course and £85 for a half day course.

If a suitable substitute attends there will be no charge.
