Course overview
New to the role of eSafety Co-ordinator? Not quite sure what this entails? This course will guide you through the eSafety role and what you need to consider; Ofsted requirements, the computing curriculum (digital literacy and online safety), the standard expected for schools and will provide many ideas for getting all staff and governors ‘on board’ to deliver eSafety
across the whole curriculum.
The course is allocated four, 2 hour sessions to give delegates an opportunity to develop a plan and start some of the tasks identified. All sessions must be attended.
Learning outcomes
Understand the responsibilities of an eSafety Co-ordinator
Develop strategies for risk management
Consider how to produce workable policies and agreements
Plan to involve all stakeholders
Ensure that Ofsted requirements are addressed
Ensure that the eSafety curriculum is delivered effectively
