Course description

Teachers IBM “Summer School” 2018 @IBM Warwick For computing subject leaders and teachers of KS1/2

The 3 day course will run on 20th June, 21st June and 17th October 2018.

This hugely popular three day event is designed to equip those with responsiblity for teaching or leading the computing curriculum in their primary schools with the knowledge, skills and confidence to do so successfully.

In this exciting, immersive and highly practical event, the delivery will be shared between IBM professional, teachers, LA advisers and external experts.

The program will explore the principles of computational thinking, digital literacy, online safety and information systems within real world contexts, including IBMs commercial and social programmes. All those taking part in the summer school will be offered an IBM mentor to provide ongoing support. Join us - it's going to be great.
