Course overview:

The brilliant LEGO Education WeDo is a fantastic, simple to use resource that enables pupils to learn, construct and then bring models to life using intuitive drag and drop software for programming. As well as computing, it is a great basis from which to explore design and technology, science and maths  - Key aspects of STEM. We will also explore how WeDo can be used with Scratch to enhance both products.  This will be a very practical day.

Learning outcomes:

• Understand how to use the bricks and elements in the LEGO WeDo box

• Navigate and effectively use the LEGO WeDo software

• Explore how to design and write computer programs in Scratch and produce creative outputs with WeDo

• Understand how aspects of the computing and design and technolgoy programmes of study can be delivered using LEGO WeDo 

• Discover how LEGO WeDo can enthuse, excite and challenge your pupils
