Warwickshire Heritage Learning is offered on a buy as you need basis. Highlights include:
Exploration – workshops available to support a range of curriculum topics at St John's House Museum, County Record Office and Market Hall museum, Warwick.
Bring us into your classroom – let us visit you in the class room with Ancient Egyptian artefacts or a whole day exploring the Stone Age. Other workshops are available.
Immersive experiences – step back in time at St John's House Museum and discover life as a Victorian child. Look out for our seasonal workshops in the summer and at Christmas.
SEND provision – provision of sensory resources for SEND children to engage in the learning with their class. Or take the option of a sensory trail of our building and garden using new resource packs.
Narrative immersion – our narrative immersion workshops inspire curiosity, encourage the creative learner, foster enquiry led learning, create a love and appreciation for heritage, enable critical thinking and support decision making.
Key Stage 3 history curriculum consultation - we can support you to integrate local history into your existing KS3 History curriculum. Our team will collaborate with your history department to identify local history links and primary sources linked to your curriculum. Included in the consultation are up 20 images for use in the classroom.

Are you looking for help and inspiration to deliver the Primary History Curriculum?
Designed by teachers for teachers, the network supports History Subject Leaders and teachers in the teaching and learning of History within our Primary Schools. The network provides opportunity to meet fellow practitioners, subject specialists and educational consultants.Our is aim is to share ideas, enhance curriculum design and inspire a lifelong appreciation of our heritage and history through practical and engaging activities, and access to inspiring resources.
Based at St Johns Museum, Warwick, in newly developed Learning Spaces, come and join us for this hands-on opportunity to reinvigorate the History experiences within your school.
