Services you can purchase
We offer a range of courses for individual staff, including:
- Newly Qualified Initial Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Training - one day and half a day.
- Full day DSL update training.
- Reflective Supervision Skills - support for DSLs to develop skills to supervise and support staff in order to safeguard children effectively.
- Prevent Training for DSLs - to assist DSLs address the practical issues surrounding the Prevent Duty.
- Early Help (Pathway to Change) - focussing on the ethos and process of how to complete an Early Help Pathway to Change plan.
- Domestic Abuse Training - informed by the new Domestic Abuse Act 2021, the training focuses on aspects including coercive and controlling behaviour and how to support and engage with children and families.
- Understanding Today’s Children - to ensure delegates understand the origins of behaviour and how this can present. Explores the overlap between ASD, ADHD, Trauma and Attachment and how all children can be supported.
- Reducing Parental Conflict - to help understand the impact of parental conflict on children.
- Solihull Approach 2-day foundation course - aims to increase knowledge and understanding of emotional health and well-being for practitioners.
- Restorative Practice / Meetings & Conversations Introduction - to develop skills and confidence in holding restorative family meetings/conversations.
- Safer Recruitment (Employment) Training - provides information and understanding to recruit safely and comply with relevant statutory guidance.
- School Safeguarding Audit (Half Day) - review schools documents and practice to check compliance.
- Bespoke Safeguarding Training for Staff - training adapted to your school or setting for example training days or staff meetings.
