The Catering and School Meals Service is now delivered through Warwickshire County Council's wholly owned company - Educaterers.
We are local, responsive and care about providing a value for money school catering service that will support your whole community. We provide a service that balances the need to meet legislative requirements whilst also meeting pupil and parental desires.

Why Buy Our Service
What children eat is an important part of their learning experience; health and progress stem from their eatinghabits which are established from an early age. Balancing the requirements of government standards for lunches, ensuring compliance with food safety requirements and designing meals that pupils want to eat is time consuming and complex.
We recognise the increased flexibility required by schools and academies and are happy to discuss adapting our provision to meet your individual requirements. This can include:
- Introducing breakfast or break time arrangements and lunch bars, salad bars, filled jacket potatoes and cold lunch options.
- Using the ‘wrist-band’ ordering scheme to ensure pupils receive their ‘first’ choice of main course each day.
- Themed promotional menus offered throughout the school year, e.g. Christmas, Mother’s Day and Chinese New Year.
- The creation of as many special one off menus as you require to match your special days, e.g. anniversaries and curricular activities.
New for 2017 – you can now choose between two options for purchasing the School Meals Service:
- Option one enables you to purchase the School Meals Service on an annual agreement where an annual management charge is payable.
- Option two is a new option that enables you to sign up to the School Meals Service for a three year agreement. For this option there will be no annual management charge

- 100% of pupils who pre-order lunches get their first choice main meal every day.
- We have been awarded the Food for Life Silver Award for our primary school menus.
- 100% of school sites have a food hygiene rating of 4 or 5.
