What children eat is an important part of their learning experience; health and progress stem from their eating habits which are established from an early age. Balancing the requirements of government standards for lunches, ensuring compliance with food safety requirements and designing meals that pupils want to eat is time consuming and complex.  We recognise the increased flexibility required by academies and are happy to discuss adapting our provision to meet your individual requirements. This can include: 

• Introducing breakfast or break time arrangements and lunch bars, salad bars, filled jacket potatoes and cold lunch options.
• Using the ‘wrist-band’ ordering scheme to ensure pupils always receive their ‘first’ choice of main course each day.
• Themed promotional menus offered throughout the school year, e.g. Christmas, Mother’s Day and Chinese New Year.
• The creation of as many special one off menus as you require to match your special days, e.g. anniversaries and curricular activities. 

The Effectiveness of our Service:

• 100% of school sites have a food hygiene rating of 4 or 5.
• 100% of our daily meals services start at the agreed time each day.
• 100% of pupils who pre-order lunches get their first choice of food every day.
• We have been awarded the Food for Life Silver Award for our primary school menus.
• We hold the Customer Service Excellence Accreditation.
• We produced over 4.4 million meals into Warwickshire schools in 2014/15.
