Local War Items. 27/4/1915 Mr G F Jackson, North Warks MFH, entertainment on a large scale for wounded soldiers. 14 from Warneford taken over to "Springfield Knowle" by Mrs Paton of Radford, motor cars lent by locals. Since November Mrs Paton has been taking out soldiers in her motor car 4 days a week from Warneford. Tomorrow she is taking a party to Stoneleigh Abbey where Lord Leigh has arranged a concert
