Description
Kitchener's Oldest Recruit". This honour is claimed by Corp J Wilson of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment who will be 66 years on 25 January 1915. He originally enlisted in 1868 and discharged in 1878. On 3 October 1914 he enlisted in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment and is now at Budbrooke Barracks.
