Driver Deeley of Albert Street, Leamington writing to his employers Messrs Harris and Son, Victoria Terrace, thanking for gift of cigarettes. Described conveying Lord Roberts body to the station on one of the guns. Described surprise visit from Sir John French. About 50 horses sick at the moment. "Horses are standing nearly up to their knees in mud and water so you will guess what it is like for us to get about in amongst them and feed them well".
