Description
Kenilworth Ladies as Carpenters. "Kenilworth ladies have turned carpenters and made a number of bed rests for the wounded soldiers. It arose, says the St Nicholas Magazine, from a festive challenge by the Vicar to some of the ladies who considered they had had enough of needlework for the present. The women have been working steadily at the Council workshop.
