Leamington Priors Gas Company Half Year Meeting 29/9/1914. Difficult market conditions. Including report that 20 employees had joined Army. Although the Company had engaged other men to do their work, they were not experienced and so there was considerable difficulty in conducting business. Company making grants to wives of the men who have joined up, especially if family children. Donated 100 tons of coke to Mayor for Relief Committee. Detailed report.
