Description
Warwick Goal now to be known as "The Settlement". This news was disclosed during the prosecution of a conscientious objector, William Harcocks, for riding a bike without light. The Chief Constable remarked: "He's a conscientious objector; one of the gentlemen who object to doing their duty to their country". Defendant wrote that he was not allowed out during working hours.
