Women - Women on the land
Description
Womens Labour on the Land. Mrs Wilkins, an experienced farm, representing the Land Service Corps, spoke at important meeting held at County Hall Warwick "for women of all classes". Appealed for volunteers to work on land, especially educated, leisured women. Details of Land Service Corps training and discussion of the type of work women could do. Young women should be working on the land rather than knitting for the troops.
