Military Tribunals: Local Tribunals to hear exemption applications under Military Service Act 1916
Description
Leamington Spa tribunal. Reference to various cases heard including item headed "Conscientious Claim Fails - Illness May Succeed" where father applied for exemption for son on conscientious ground and also not mentally fit. First ground dismissed but ordered to get medically examined. Another case headed "A Christadelphian Objector" where in addition where application claimed eyes medically unfit. Application dismissed on grounds that medical statement obtained under false pretences. Application dismissed. Applicant assisted by a prominent Christadelphian, Mr Nuttery.
