Solihull Approach - Online Guides for Parents

These Guides come from the Solihull Approach Programme and have been written by NHS experts. They are designed to help build the confidence of parents, and to grow their relationships with their infants and children.

Research shows that a responsive relationship between parents and infants helps infants’ brains to grow and connect, and builds the longer-term emotional strength and wellbeing of infants and children, so they’re able to bounce back in life.

Research shows that these Guides can help parents build a better understanding of the feelings of their infants and children and how to manage those feelings and behaviour, as well as strengthening family communication and increasing closeness.
